Air Cycle offers recycling services for your used computer equipment. We offer a program that is cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and customer driven.

Computer Hardware Recycling Our paperwork trail follows your material from the time of pickup through its recycling and final destruction. A signed copy of the Certificate of Recycling is then returned with our invoice to provide a clear record of proper recycling and disposal of your materials.

Why recycle?

As computer technology evolves, equipment is retired at an alarming rate. The EPA has estimated that by 2004 more than 315 million computers will become obsolete throughout the United States. It has been estimated that over three quarters of all computer equipment ever purchased in the US is now being stored in office closets, basements, garages, and storage units throughout the country. Discarding old electronic equipment in landfills or incineration not only wastes valuable resources but also releases potentially hazardous materials into the environment via leachate and toxic air emissions.

Furthermore, you could be subject to violations for the improper disposal of your old equipment or for illegal dumping. This could result in legal litigation and costly clean-up responsibilities. Your corporate image also could suffer by being reported as environmentally irresponsible.
