Air Cycle Corporation is a privately held business headquartered in suburban Chicago. As a recognized leader in the recycling industry, we work on a daily basis to accomplish three things:

  1. Build awareness as to why certain wastes are dangerous and what the consequences are for improperly disposing the waste from both an environmental and regulatory perspective.
  2. Provide quality services to have those wastes properly recycled.
  3. Develop reliable products that help make recycling as easy and cost effective as possible.

We believe that the key to diverting hazardous waste from landfills is through education. Once we explain to people why certain wastes are regulated, why the wastes are dangerous to our environment, and what the consequences are for improperly disposing of the waste we find a sincere willingness to help the cause. Once our customers understand why it is so important for them to recycle, our next challenge is to provide the easiest, most economical methods for them to do so.

To assist our customers, we've developed a recycling program that reaches throughout all of North America. Our services include lamp, ballast, battery, and e-waste recycling.

In addition to these services, we've also developed a product to help make recycling easy and more economical for our clients. This award-winning lamp crushing system, aptly called the Bulb Eater™, is designed for our customers to use at their location to help package their lamps prior to having them recycled. This system has been mentioned on the front page of the Wall Street Journal, as well as numerous other publications. The machine allows our customers to package their lamps much faster thereby cutting down on related labor costs. By reducing the volume of the lamps our customers are also able to store far more lamps in far less space. Because the lamps are pre-crushed, we're also able to lower their recycling costs since part of the final recycling process has already taken place. In a nutshell, our customers save time packaging the lamps, space, and most importantly cut their recycling costs.
